Grilled BBQ Chicken Pizza
Ingredients
Cornmeal
1/2 pizza crust recipe per grilled pizza1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup leftover BBQ chicken
1/4 cup caramelized onions (1 whole onion)
3 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
1. Prep pizza paddle by sprinkling a bit of cornmeal on it. Roll out pizza dough and place onto paddle.
2. Spread the BBQ sauce on the pizza, sprinkle the cheese, and add the BBQ chicken and onions.
3. Heat the grill to 400-450 and turn off the burners to 1 or 2 elements. Place the pizza on the grill over the elements that are off.
4. Start checking on the pizza after about 8 minutes. If the bottom is getting too dark turn off another burner. Take the pizza out once the top is golden brown.
