Gorgeous Steamed Green Beans


These are my children's favorite green beans even though they are the easiest and plainest variation I've ever made. They do look beautiful though! Just the right amount of crispness and softness, these will be gobbled up at every meal you serve them.

Ingredients
8 oz fresh or frozen green beans, organic preferred
1 1/2 cups water
1 Tbsp oil
 

Directions
1. In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
2. Add the green beans and turn heat to medium low. Simmer for about 8 minutes or until the beans have turned a bright green color and are soft, but not mushy when cut.
3. Strain the green beans and then toss them with the oil and 721 mix in a serving bowl. Gobble these up!
