Perfectly Crispy Sweet Potato Fries
After a few trials and errors, my girls and I determined that this recipe is the best way to make sweet potato fries. Just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and soft on the inside. These are very easy to make and healthy to eat.
Ingredients
1 Tbsp oil
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp cornstarch or tapioca starch
1 medium sweet pototo, cut into strips.
Directions
Cut the sweet potato into strips that are fairly thin. Place them in a bowl and pour in the oil and salt. Mix thoroughly. Add the starch and combine well. Preheat air fryer to 390°F. Place sweet potatoes into air fryer and cook for about 12 minutes, shaking the basket at the halfway point. Check on the fries in the last minute to be sure the potatoes aren't overcooking. Yum!
