Chocolate Banana Bars




What do you get when you mix banana bread and brownies? 

Chocolate Banana Bars!

Whip this up when you feel the urge to eat both of these treats and you'll be on your way to staving off your cravings.

Ingredients


1 1/2 cups oat flour


1 tsp baking powder


1/4 cup cocoa powder


1 tsp stevia extract


1/3 cup water


2 cups mashed bananas (about 4 ripe bananas )


5 eggs whites lightly beaten with a pinch of salt



Directions


Preheat oven to 350 and grease an 8x8 pan.

If you don't already have oat flour, then use a stick blender in a jar or a regular blender to make flour out of rolled oats. Now, gather all your dry ingredients and stir together in a bowl. If you would like to have more protein in this recipe add a scoop of whey protein powder or collagen. 

In a separate bowl, whisk egg whites until foamy. Stir the bananas and water into the dry ingredients and gently fold in the egg whites until just combined.

Pour batter into the pan and cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
