Italian Salad Dressing
Ingredients
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder1 1/8 tsp onion powder
3/4 tsp oregano
1/3 tsp black pepper
pinch of thyme
1/3 tsp basil
1 1/8 tsp parsley
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp lemon peel
pinch of cayenne
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, omit for dairy free
1 1/4 tsp sugar or 2 tiny scoops* stevia
1 1/4 tsp sugar or 2 tiny scoops* stevia
1/8 tsp xanthan gum
1/2 Tbsp mayonnaise (not miracle whip)
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp white distilled vinegar
3/4 cup olive oil
Directions
Mix all spices, cheese, sugar and xanthan gum with vinegar and let sit for 5 min. Add mayo and stir until there are no lumps. Add olive oil and stir vigorously to combine. Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Use within 2 weeks.
