Smoked Chili


Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef 
1 chopped onion 
4 cloves garlic, crushed 
2 tablespoons chili powder 
2 1/2 teaspoon salt 
1 teaspoon paprika 
1 teaspoon oregano 
1 teaspoon ground cumin 
4 cups beef stock 
4 cups water 
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 15 oz can red kidney beans
1 15 oz can black beans
1 15 oz can pinto beans

Directions
1. Preheat smoker to 180°F
2. Brown beef. Combine all ingredients in aluminum pan, stirring well. 
3. Cook for 6-8 hours uncovered. Check on liquid levels and cover if the level has reduced by at least a third. If you would like a thicker consistency, mix 1/4 cup masa with 1/4 cup water and carefully stir into the chili.
Serves 4-6
